Preserving the rich heritage of Hales Corners
and sharing it with the community.
The Hales Corners Historical Society consists of volunteers dedicated to preserving
the rich heritage of Hales Corners and sharing what they learn with the community.
We accomplish this through our continuing maintenance of the W. Ben Hunt Cabin and its collection of museum artifacts, as well as the Seneca Hale Summer Kitchen. In addition, we present special historical programs four times a year. We also publish books on Village history, such as Neighborhood Walking Tours, When Fire Engines Were Red, W. Ben Hunt: From Whittlin’ Jim to Lone Eagle, and Hales Corners Wisconsin: A History of the Village Since 1837.
All of our publications are sold to members at a discount.
